A Little Bit About Me

Prior to opening Fleischmann Media, LLC. I worked with at risk youth, those with developmental disabilities, and those seeking to transition out of the care of the state for approximately 18 years. During this time I was also a supervisor at two large group home facilities.

I hold a Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of Baltimore in Interdisciplinary Studies which focused on Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice. Prior to receiving my BA from the University of Baltimore, I graduated Cum Laude with two Associate Degrees from the Community College of Baltimore County – one in General Studies, and one in Criminal Justice. During his first semester at the Community College of Baltimore County I was also inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, an honor society for two-year colleges. During my time at the Community College of Baltimore County I also worked there as a Certified Tutor, specializing in helping non-native English Speakers communicate better (ESOL). In addition to my academic and work experience, I have also taught self-defense and martial arts to a number of people throughout the years. In fact, I enjoyed this so much that I ended up opening up (incorporating) what was classified as a Church so I could share both the Martial Arts as well as my Faith. Later I expanded this to include a Homeschool Umbrella in our state.
I believe that through education people can break free from situations and circumstances that are oppressive. Having withdrawn from High School after the 10th Grade, I am living proof that through faith and education they can align themselves with the life they’re meant to have. I believe in a “Life Long Learning” philosophy, and continue to educate myself with valuable skills and knowledge to achieve my goals and make a more meaningful impact on the lives of those around me.

Rebecca Fleischmann is the Executive Assistant (and daughter) to Anthony J. Fleischmann Jr. Her duties are vast, but primarily encompasses the following:

Rebecca Fleischmann has been at her father's side learning the business since about the age of 10. Her father made sure that learning real business skills were a part of her homeschool education. Rebecca is an avid reader and enjoys writing in multiple genres. In fact, Rebecca was Self-Published at the age of 12 and has written 4 books in total, 14 if you count the 10 children's books that she has written. Currently she is working on an epic Christian Thriller Series, but more on that in a future update to this Bio.
In the future Rebecca plans to create a YouTube channel and share her advice and opinions on Self-Publishing, Writing, and Story Analysis from a Christian perspective. And in the meantime, if you're in need of a Scrivener Theme you can always visit her Etsy Shop called the Story Writer Resources.
